The haunted trombone

I'm not bored, I just don't want to do my trombone.
Once upon a time there was a trombone sitting in a case at the music store. Then a little girl named Carla walked in. She said "I can't wait to play trombone!" Later she found out she was very mistaken. Carla walked out and a few days later it was the first day of school. She didn't have to bring her trombone that day, but a few days later she would. It came time for her to bring her trombone. She lugged the three foot monster onto the bus. When she got to band the teacher instructed everyone to get out and put together their instruments. Carla pulled her's out of her case and began putting it together. She took the bell but oddly it had eyes on it. Then she took the slide and tried to connect it to the bell. They seemed to repel like magnets. Carla finally got it together and when she did the trombone started moving it's slide and playing Jingle Bells all by itself. Carla ran out of the room and never touched her trombone again. Lucky her.
Moral: NEVER in your life do the trombone unless you don't mind having to waste uyour time with the beast!

Butt Bagel

The funniest thing happened to me in third grade (I think). My friends and I were sitting at the lunch table and my friend had just come out of the lunch line. Erin sat down with us and unwrapped the tinfoil on her bagel. She picked up the butter and the bagel, then she sniffed the bagel. "EEEWWW!" Erin yelled. We all asked what was wrong and she said "It smells like butt!" We all laughed and gave the normal really? No way? She passed the bagel around so everyone could smell. It did smell bad but I don't know if it smelled like butt, I've never purposely sniffed one. She ended up not eating it because she did not want to eat something that smelt like someone's buttox, neither would I. I think that was a very funny and entertaining thing when I was in third grade, now it's just plain gross.

The Bored Blog's beginning

The Bored Blog started on Friday, Decemeber 9th, 2011 on a cold dark evening.I was bored and I didn't want to do homework, so I sat down and thought of what to do. Then I thought of something! I should write a book about being bored and a bunch of random stories that have happened to me. After, I turned on the computer I realized I had a blog. I forgot since I haven't posted anything in so long. So I went to my blog and changed the name to Carleigh's Bored Blog... Then I typed all this and here we are now.
The Bored Blog will be filled with stories that have happened to me, crazy events that you would be jealous of, and random stories that I mak up.
I hope that when you ever get bored, you will come to Carleigh's Bored Blog. :)

Talent Show

We had an awesome talent show!
At my school we do a talent show every other year. We did one this year. It was so much fun! My second favorite part is the getting-ready-for-it-part. After school, we go down to the gym and help get ready. This year the theme was "Hollywood." We had a red carpet and "VIP entrances" signs and everything!!! Every kid in the talent show had a star and a critic review. It was so cool! My school has a closed circuit TV, and we put commercials on it for the talent show!! The commercials were American Idol themed! My friend and I did one together. We got a golden ticket and ran out of the gym like the real American Idol.
We straightened my hair and I had this awesome outfit to wear. My outfit was neon pink and neon green with black sequins!!! I loved it!! My act was a dance to Dynamite by Tiao Cruz. Patty helped me choreograph it, and it was awesome!!
My friends and I did this fifth graders say farewell thing. That was also really fun. We all dressed up in pretty dresses and sang So Long Farewell from Sound of Music. We changed the words from ♫cuckoo♪ to ♫middle school♪ My my mom and another teacher helped us choreograph that. That was fun!!
Katie sang Wishes from Magic Kingdom. She did a great job. Her costume was a denim dress, with a sparkly hairband.
Wishes! Dream a dream, Wishes! Set it free.
It was so cool. Some of the talents were a little strange, but so neat! There was one third grade girl who stood up on stage and made animal noises. She was so funny! Other acts were really good also. Two second grade boys did karate, and cracked boards with their heads! All acts were really good.
It was so much fun, not just the actual show but the preparing, decoration, practicing, watching, and of course performing!

My teeth!

I had four! not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR teeth pulled yesterday! Wow! It was interesting. First, they take me back to the room and give me laughing gas. (by the way, I still think I smell some.) It took at least 15-20 minutes for it to start working, then when I was still awake enough to feel it and hear things and see things, he gave me a shot in  the arm! OUCH! I know you are probably thinking, shots aren't that bad, but I have needle phobia. Like some people have arachnophobia, I have Needle phobia. Well, then I guess I went to sleep because I have four big holes in my mouth, but I don't remember falling asleep. The dentist did her thing and poof it was like one hour in real time, but in Anesthesia World it was five minutes. The worst part was waking up.
I was what my family calls "jungle baby." The last time I was ever jungle baby was when I had my adenoids out, that was in kindergarten or first grade. Jungle baby is pretty self explanatory, but it is when you are crying, make noises flaring your arms, touching people as if you were trying to pin a tail on a donkey or in this case, someone. But it doesn't have to be just waking up from anesthesia.
If anyone has had anesthesia then you know that you are pretty tired after it. Unless you are like me and don't take naps. In that 10 hour period (11-8) I did not fall asleep once! But I guess if you count laying on the couch for half the time, then yes I would have slept.

So in the timeline of February 15, 2011 we are now at the point of which I went to bed.Yes I went to bed at 8:00. You can't blame me, I didn't sleep at all that day! Oh almost forgot.. guess how much money I got for the teeth? (drum roll) 20 DOLLARS! For 4 teeth!  I guess the tooth fairy thought I did pretty well.. all for except the jungle baby part.....

My 4 teeth compared to a penny!
You are probably thinking well where are the pictures? I wanna see these suckers! Pictures will be coming soon.

Wow.. my first blog...

I have a blog! On the move with Carleigh... the title says it all! Wherever we go.. whatever I do will be said here! I guess you could call this my own little diary that people are allowed to look in! This is going to be so much fun! Updates on Vacations, holidays, important events, all at the click of a mouse!
